About the Race

Everything you need to know about the most ridiculous 50K in Texas

The Taco Bell 50K DFW is a free, self-supported urban ultra where runners navigate the streets of Dallas-Fort Worth, stopping at Taco Bell locations along the way.

This isn't your typical trail race. There are no aid stations, no timing chips, and no podium. Just you, your legs, your appetite, and the open road. You purchase your own food at each stop and carry those receipts to the finish as proof.

All finishers support our charity partner. Come for the tacos. Stay for the glory.

Load The Course Before Race Day

Race morning is not the time to import a file. Get the course onto whatever you plan to navigate with the night before, and know how to bring it up while you're moving.

On Your Watch

Best option. No signal needed once the course is loaded.

  • GarminOpen the Garmin course above and send it to your device.
  • COROSImport the GPX in the COROS app, then sync to your watch.
  • SuuntoImport the GPX as a route in the Suunto app and sync.
  • Apple WatchNo built-in GPX import — use an app like WorkOutDoors.

On Your Phone

Download offline maps for the DFW area before race day.

  • OsmAndImport the GPX, then "Follow track" for voice directions offline.
  • Ride with GPSImport the GPX for spoken turn-by-turn along the course.
  • KomootImport as a tour and download the region for offline use.
  • StravaNavigate the saved route from the Strava link above.
  • Gaia GPSImport and follow the track with off-route alerts.

Some apps keep offline maps or voice navigation behind a subscription — check yours before race day. Once the race is underway, the check-in page also hands you a single-leg GPX for just the stop you're running to, as a backup if your watch dies or you get turned around.
